TerrorFest is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This policy applies to everyone, attendees, performers, vendors, volunteers, security, and staff.
What is Harassment?
Harassment is any unwanted behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive atmosphere. If someone asks you to stop or leave them alone, you must do so immediately. Harassment is defined by how it’s received, not by your intent.
Examples of Harassment Include (but are not limited to):
-
Offensive jokes or remarks about appearance, race, gender, sexuality, or other personal traits.
-
Unwanted flirting, catcalling, or sexual advances.
-
Stalking, blocking pathways, or repeatedly contacting someone after being asked to stop.
-
Touching or photographing someone without their clear consent.
-
Disruptive behavior like excessive noise, heckling, or unwanted attention.
-
Lewd gestures or exposing oneself.
-
Mocking or questioning someone’s gender identity or bathroom choice.
Costumes and Photography
Many guests enjoy dressing up, and we encourage creativity! But remember, cosplayers are people first. Always ask before taking photos or touching someone's costume. Respect personal space and boundaries.
Noise & Disruptive Behavior
Please keep noise levels respectful of the space and other attendees. Avoid noisemakers, shouting, or loud disruptions that interfere with the enjoyment of others, especially in shared or congested areas.
Dress Code & Explicit Content
TerrorFest is a public event. Costumes must cover areas typically concealed by a swimsuit. Flashing or public indecency will not be tolerated. Explicit signs, props, or attire should not be openly visible. Vendors with adult material must keep it discreet and verify photo ID before displaying or selling.
Reporting Harassment
If you experience or witness harassment, report it immediately. All reports are taken seriously, and there will be no retaliation for speaking up. Your safety and well-being are our priority.
To report harassment:
-
Locate a Silverback Events/TerrorFest staff member, a volunteer or security at the event.
-
Visit the info booth area near the event entrance.
-
Email us at contact@terrorfest.net, monitored 24/7. We will respond as quickly as possible.
Consequences

-
A verbal warning (you’ll only get one).
-
Removal from the event with no refund.
-
Permanent ban from all future Silverback Events.
